VOICES OF YOUTH

Hey! It's National Poetry month. Come on out and support the next generation of poets!

I will be hosting Anthology's Mesa Voices of Youth Poetry Festival Event today.

When: 1pm

Where: Main Library
64 E. First St.
Mesa, AZ 85201

Teen poets will compete for slots in the main event that will take place at Bookmans in Phoenix on April 28th.

Today's winner will receive a $25 gift certificate for Bookmans and a chance to compete for the grand prize of $100 in Bookmans credit!

And, of course, bragging rights as this year's Voices of Youth Champion.

Thanks! My event went really well, except for the fact that I had been bitten by the bug of doom early in the day and was sick while hosting, though trooper (read: too stubborn to lie down) that I am, you'd never know I was ill.

I spent the night under five blankets, freezing my high temp butt off and it was 80n degrees in the house. Bleh!
